Week 10
This week is slightly slower for the team, since the alpha code was presented last week and we kind of have little break while we can catch up to other assignments from other courses. This meek our main goal is to organize the feedbacks from the critiques. We tried working on most of the bug that appeared in the current build of the game.
My contribution this week:
This week my primary goal is to focus on the environment and the design of the next level. I did some more research on the references that the team could use. I looked through some environments of medieval cities from dark souls and many other architecture of city buildings. I first started with the model of the bridge that connects the previous level to the city. The inspiration of the bridge is mostly from dark souls where is the is a huge bridge leading to the cathedral. After that, I started modeling the building in the city, for this i took reference from the images of medieval images and try to recreate them in Maya. i made two variation of models to start of with and check with the team see that they think about it, so i can edit and make changes as soon as possible.
For next week, I will create more assets and modify and fixing the previous level from the critiques from the play test.
